About The Artist
My work in the community is in healing, and my passion is in creating art. My medium is clay and mixed media. I receive my inspiration from observation...observation of the city, it’s people and animals, and events around me. I am especially inspired by musicians, political events and familiar things - the human body, animals, and nature.
“It is something to be able to paint a particular picture, or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful; but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look, which morally we can do. To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of the arts.”
- Henry David Thoreau
